Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about Oprah.com membership? Read the answers below to our most frequently asked questions for help.

Do I have to be a member to access all Oprah.com content?
No. While Oprah.com membership has its benefits—like being able to use journals, message boards and O Groups and to sign up for newsletters—our daily show content (including great articles, features and Web-exclusive videos) will remain free and available to both members and nonmembers.

What if my username is already taken?
There is a slight chance that a username you were previously using on our Message Boards or O Groups is already being used. Please have a couple of usernames in mind when signing up for Oprah.com membership.

If I am an Oprah.com member, what do I have access to?
Once you sign in, your username and password will give you access to every feature on the site. You will easily be able to move from your blog to posting in our Message Boards and much more. For your security, you will have to re-register to order tapes and transcripts on Oprah.com.

What if I forget my password?
If you forget your Oprah.com member password, you will find a link on the log in pages that says "Forgot your password?" Click on this, enter your e-mail address and we will send you the username we have on file for this specific address and a link to reset/change your password. Please remember that your password should be between six to 10 characters.

How do I log out of Oprah.com?
If you are an Oprah.com member and you have logged in to use an application, there are a couple of ways that you can log out or end your session: Use the "Log out" link at the top left of your screen or just close your browser window. Also, if you are logged in and have not used your computer for 10 minutes, your session will "time out," meaning you will be automatically logged off for security purposes.
