CULVER CITY, CALIF. and CHICAGO — Mindy Moore Borman has been named executive producer of the new syndicated series The Dr. Oz Show from Harpo Productions and Sony Pictures Television, starring Dr. Mehmet Oz, which will premiere next fall. It was also announced today that the show will be produced in New York, in high definition (HD).

Borman is a veteran producer of numerous daytime and primetime television series including high profile shows such as The View, Good Morning America and Big Brother (Season 5). A seasoned and highly-respected producer, Borman has developed and launched a wide variety of shows for network, cable and syndicated television. Borman has also served as Vice President, Alternative Development for Fox Television Studios.
She earned two Emmy nominations during her highly successful tenure on the top-rated series, The View.
Dr. Mehmet C. Oz, MD, better known to millions as Dr. Oz, the renowned and popular surgeon, educator, and best-selling author who appears regularly on The Oprah Winfrey Show, will debut his first-run syndicated series next year, an entertaining and informative multi-topic, hour-long health and wellness talk show co-produced by Harpo Productions and Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and distributed by SPT. The series, The Dr. Oz Show, has been cleared in over 80 percent of the country to date. Packed with the latest health headlines, medical breakthroughs and inspiring stories, The Dr. Oz Show will feature important information that impacts your life in areas including weight loss, nutrition, staying young, looking your best, relationship issues, fitness, money, parenting, intimacy and handling conflict and stress.
