Los Angeles, CA — Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, comes to OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network in a six-part docu-series titled Finding Sarah. The new series will be produced by World of Wonder and premiere in the first quarter of 2011 exclusively on OWN.

"Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, will share with our viewers her personal struggle to rebuild her life," said Lisa Erspamer, chief creative officer, OWN. "With the help of experts Dr. Phil McGraw, Suze Orman, Martha Beck and others, the Duchess will open up about her recent public troubles and explore her lifelong battles with weight, relationships and finances. She will look to put the past behind her and move forward to a positive future."

"I'm doing this because I need to heal my mind, body and spirit," said Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. "After 22 years of raising my two amazing daughters, it's time for me to mother myself. My hope is that sharing my journey will help someone else."

The Duchess of York has worked to balance motherhood, health advocacy and charity work, with a diverse and challenging international career. The Duchess of York has a history of philanthropic work dedicated to making a difference in the lives of suffering children and families throughout the world. Her grandmother said, "If you feel bad about yourself give to someone else," and in 1992, the Duchess founded Children in Crisis.

The Duchess is a published author having penned numerous children's books, inspirational image books for Weight Watchers® and two autobiographies. An accomplished amateur photographer, the Duchess published a collection of images in an art book for charity titled Moments.
