WRITER IN RESIDENCE
By Sally Koslow
PromoAlt No one would call Maureen Dowd a hopeless romantic. There's nothing hopeless about a woman whose column in The New York Times strikes fear in the hearts of politicians, who's an undaunted guest on television shows such as Meet the Press, and who so beguiled the first President Bush that they still e-mail each other. But a private romantic she is, and every room of her three-story, cream-colored townhouse is as pretty as the soft light from a chandelier (of which she owns several).

Take a peak inside Maureen Dowd's Georgetown home.
