This Thursday, October 17th is GLAAD #SpiritDay, where individuals, schools, organizations, corporations and public figures wear purple to stand against bullying and show their support for LGBT youth. The color purple symbolizes 'spirit' on the rainbow flag.
GLAAD, (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation), is one of the leading organizations spearheading the conversation for LGBT equality. Here are some ways in which you can show your support for #SpiritDay:
