ANSWERS
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU CREATIVELY?
A simple piece of paper motivates me creatively. Fold it, cut, paint, draw, write, glue, staple, journal...the sky is the limit. There is so much you can do with a simple piece of paper."
- Kathy, NY
I get motivated watching others create. I love to watch musicians play, cooks whip up something amazing and artists drawing. Watching them feeds my spirit and helps me to come up with new ideas for myself."
- Rachel, NC
I compete -- challenge myself, and I have to win. I create ways to organize anything I do. If I am volunteering I will find a way to put labels on an envelope faster and better. I take a pattern/recipe and see what changes I can make. I never see an end, only an idea."
- Jill, AZ
My children motivate me creatively. When I watch the gifts and talents that pour out of them so freely, it makes me remember where they got it from, me and my husband of course! It's a wonderful feeling to see the best part of myself being expressed through them. And I can't help but join in with them to help get to the wonderful end results of their creative energy."

Discovering, learning, and being surrounded by positive people are my greatest motivators. Learning never gets old and it automatically gets my creative juices going and motivates me to push myself that much closer to my full potential as a human being."
- Boneza, VA
Making things for people I love gets my creative juices flowing. I get inspiration from them and nature, especially trees and water."

A clean, organized living space. But I rarely have one! So when I do get things organized and cleaned up I feel very motivated to do something creative -- like read a book, work on my cross stitch project, listen to music, dance or redesign the space I just cleaned."
- Karri-ann, Canada
I love learning. When I create -- whether it be writing, designing, putting out a beautiful plate of food, or arranging a scrapbook page -- I learn something new in the process. It is that hunger to learn as I am creating that is my main motivator."
- Eniko, MA
I look at life around me as a series of pictures. I pass a pretty scene and think that it would make a gorgeous photo. Capturing the innocence of a child on film is the best! Picking out the beauty around me, in the smallest of things, makes my sense of creativity go into overdrive."
- Jeanne, IL
I love to think tank with others in a creative mode. I know when I am creative I feel a sense of self--confidence. It is almost an innate feeling that I can.t describe. It is the one thing that I feel easily motivated to do. I wish some other things came so naturally. Seeing others act upon their creativity motivates me also."
- Nicole, TX
When I know that the time and energy I put into a task is going to help someone, particularly a child, there is no limit to my creative juice! Being happy for the success of another is a pure and simple form of happy... and it feels great."
- Marie, Canada
What motivates me creatively is my vision of what the completed project will look like."
