How Dee Snider and His Wife Keep Their Marriage Rocking

In a business not known for fostering healthy and stable relationships, singer Dee Snider and his wife, Suzette, have made their marriage work for 34 years and counting, even as Dee traveled the world as the front man for the glam metal band Twisted Sister. How have they survived the ups and downs and kept things fresh decades into their union?

"It's organic," Dee says. "It changes. Life changes. Life affects you, and you've got to care enough to work at it and want to impress the person that's most important to you. I know she tries to impress me, and I try to impress her."

"What he says is true," Suzette says, before adding, "but I believe the key to a successful marriage, or relationship in general, is to always view it as the first or second or third date, when things were exciting and new and you literally fantasized about meeting, seeing each other, the butterflies in your stomach. I think that's the way you keep it alive. And I always fantasize if I was his mistress or girlfriend, what would I do? What would I have done 32 years ago?"
