In 1994, a 15-year-old named Brandy Norwood burst onto the music scene and topped the charts with her self-titled album, Brandy. Two years later, she took the lead in the popular UPN sitcom Moesha. Now 35, Brandy reflects on her rise to fame and says her path would have been much more difficult if she had been coming up in a world of social media. "The opinions are so in-your-face," she says. "As a young teen, I would not have been able to make it in this generation."
