Veronica's Paranoia Gets the Best of Her

David walks into the Cryer mansion to find Katheryn and Veronica at each other's throats. Seeing an opportunity, Katheryn plays the victim and tells David that Veronica has been trying to kill her. In fact, she says, Veronica killed the DA in cold blood.

Veronica quickly makes it known that Katheryn is lying and will regret pinning the murder on her. "Katheryn, I am not the kind of enemy that you want to make," she warns.

David doesn't know whom to believe. As they wait for Jim Cryer to arrive, Veronica becomes deeply paranoid that she's been set up.
