It was the party of a lifetime. On January 29, 2004, Oprah celebrated her 50th birthday on The Oprah Winfrey Show with a star-studded extravaganza. Gayle served as co-host for the big day, which included surprise visits from celebrities like John Travolta, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder and Jay Leno. In a touching toast, John Travolta told Oprah, "We love you so much we can't take it."
