When I heard from Marianne that Oprah was going to feature her on "Super Soul Sunday," I was THRILLED because Marianne has been such an amazing force in my life, both as a teacher and as a friend.

Marianne played a crucial role in my relationship with Jenna, my girlfriend of one year—helping us through times where my ego reared it's ugly head and tried to destroy the emerging Love that was between us. I got an email from Marianne one day that changed my life. She emailed me and said that she got a hit during meditation that Jenna and I might benefit from coming to see her. When you get an email like that from Marianne, you go!

While hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, Wild author Cheryl Strayed faced obstacles she never could have imagined and emerged with an entirely new understanding about her inner strength. During her Oprah's Book Club 2.0 interview with Oprah, Cheryl shared many stories from her life-changing trip. Watch four of them below!
