This movie hits a real spiritual nerve with 6 year old "Hushpuppy" as the main artery.
Can't say enough about it. That's why I'm doing a whole show on it. Hope you see the movie then watch the people who made it happen on Super Soul Sunday live on OWN and streamed around the world on Facebook and Oprah.com 11a ET/PT.

O my, my! If I had a hoop, I'd do the hula right now, I'm so excited that WILD hit #1 on three different New York Times bestseller lists! Hardcover, E-books, and combined. Congratulations Cheryl!! WOW! I know she's grateful to all of you who've downloaded or bought the book. I thank you too, it makes me so happy to share good words and pass them on.
That's what I'll be doing this Sunday morning beginning at 11am/10c—spending @SUPER SOUL SUNDAY with bestselling author Cheryl Strayed. I tried to ask everything I thought you'd want to know about her incredible trek up the Pacific Crest Trail that turned into a spiritual journey of the highest order. We all have times in our lives when we need to be reminded of the GREATNESS of something bigger than ourselves: Times when you wanted to give up, or felt like you lost your way. Cheryl says WILD is "about bearing the thing you thought you couldn't bear.”
I walked away from this interview thinking, “Gee I like her so much, she was so normal. I could be her friend.” I think you all will feel the same. You're going to see yourself in her, just as I did. And maybe even want to climb the PCT. Or even better, "Bear the thing you thought you couldn't.”
Join us for a hearty conversation with lots of aha's and more than a few HA's! This Sunday on "Super Soul Sunday" on OWN, Oprah.com and Facebook.com/OWNtv. Bring your hula hoop!

You've seen SoulPancake's Framed video—what are the beautiful things that surround you? Oprah grabs her frame and shares what the beautiful things in her office are.
Tune in Sunday at 11/10c to watch Oprah's interview with Rainn. You can also log on to Oprah.com, Facebook.com/OWNTV or Facebook.com/SuperSoulSunday to watch a simulcast online!

So glad you're loving WILD by Cheryl Strayed! Thanks for making it the #1 e-book in non-fiction on the New York Times Book Review this week. I've read so many of your posts about the book. What Loree Libby posted on June 13th sums up my feelings too: "It's a book every woman can relate to on some level." Loree says she's recommending to her daughters and all her friends. That's the beauty of a great book. You want others to share the experience. In this 2.0 world we can do that in an instant.
In one month you can see my conversation with Cheryl about this great WILD experience on "Super Soul Sunday" on OWN. Make note: July 22 at 11a.m. ET/PT AND simulcast on the web. Very 2.0!
