Excerpt: Wishes Fulfilled by Dr. Wayne W. DyerBe Willing to Dream: Choosing a Life of Greatness
It was so great to sit down and talk so sincerely with Oprah again concerning so many of the controversial ideas in Wishes Fulfilled. I recall so fondly our television conversations back in Baltimore, when Oprah was in her early twenties speaking to audiences so forthrightly, telling people they could indeed choose their own greatness if they were willing to live from their own personal power. There is no one like Oprah, I knew it then and I know it today some 35 years later. It was stimulating back in that studio on People Are Talking, and even more so in the mist of Maui. I AM certain you will find our conversation provocative and informative. I loved it. - Wayne Dyer My favorite definition of success, which I've cited on numerous occasions, was offered by Henry David Thoreau in the mid-19th century at Walden Pond: "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours." I've italicized two words in Thoreau's definition of success—dreams and imagined. Published on March 20, 2012
