Growing up, Michele was told she'd make a great lawyer (her family, after all, had nicknamed her "The Barracuda"). Turns out, they were right.
After graduating from New York Law School - where she met her best friend, Elura - Michele set out to fight for child support on behalf of New York City's Administration of Children's Services. After taking on some of the biggest deadbeats New York City had to offer, Michele moved on to represent hospitals and doctors for New York's largest medical malpractice law firm.
Along with best friend Elura, Michele has spent the last decade as co-owner of Lawyer Up, using her street smarts and no-nonsense style to make law understandable and useful for professionals and law students alike. Recently, the two have taken their skills on the road by working as mobile mediators to resolve disputes of all sizes for clients in Staten Island and the NYC area, including their own friends and family.
Michele lives with her husband, an N.Y.P.D. captain, eight year-old "Lieutenant" James, and four year-old "Chief" Olivia. In any little free time she finds, Michele does what all working mothers do - the laundry.
