Pam's passion for genealogy was born out of her own search for her birth mother more than a decade ago. Unfortunately, Pam's birth mother didn't want a relationship with her and she never got the reunion that many of her clients are fortunate enough to experience. Because she is emotionally invested in each of her clients' complex and unique cases, each reunion heals a piece of Pam's heart.

Whether they are searching for a birth parent, a friend, a mentor or a lost love, Pam guides her clients through their search. After bringing together thousands of people, Pam is now letting others follow her journey through Searching For, a documentary series on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Pam has two sons: Ronnie, 21, and Mike Jr., 15. She has been married for 24 years to her husband, Mike. The family lives in Lumberton, N.J., along with their dog, Jake.
