Manager, Booking & Talent Relations / The Oprah Winfrey Show
This is Erin's fifth season with The Oprah Winfrey Show, where she is the manager of booking and talent relations at the broadcast. In this role, she works closely with the booking team pursuing interviews with newsmakers and celebrities as well as ordinary people who have extraordinary stories to share. Some of the major Oprah Show productions she has been part of include "Oprah’s Annual After-Oscar Party" shows and "Oprah in Washington DC: The Inaugural Celebration." Erin also worked on the Season 24 Kickoff Party on Michigan Avenue and the live broadcast celebrating the 10th anniversary of O, The Oprah Magazine from New York City's Radio City Music Hall in May of 2010.
Prior to The Oprah Winfrey Show, Erin spent six years at CNN where she was Larry King's publicist and later the political producer at the Larry King Live show. Her tenure there included the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections and inaugurations, Hurricane Katrina, the funeral of President Ronald Reagan and the ongoing wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Erin attended Clemson University where she graduated with a dual degree in English and Political Science. Prior to television, she worked as a press secretary on Capitol Hill and on Bill Bradley's 2000 presidential campaign.
Erin lives in downtown Chicago with her cat, Chicken, and her Yorkie, Cowboy, whom she adopted in February 2008 after meeting him at The Oprah Show. An avid traveler, Erin has visited six of the seven continents and is always up for an adventure. She's gone zip lining in Costa Rica, traveled on safari in Africa and jumped out of a plane skydiving in Las Vegas.
