As I watched Episode 6 of Married to the Army:  Alaska, I witnessed such incredible demonstrations of fortitude. It was so wonderful to watch how the ladies faced insecurities and difficult situations. Army wives are so strong; they persevere through depression, illnesses, childbirths, and conflicts while maneuvering through deployments. Wow, that is phenomenal!

I get such a sense of pride as I watch the ladies take out time to pamper themselves and to pursue their own goals and dreams. There is such a balancing act. Spouses follow soldiers around the world while obtaining degrees and raising children. They often reinvent themselves at each duty station. I am always overwhelmingly grateful when I hear the stories of these women who personify sacrifice.

Military wives are unbelievably talented. I am so honored to walk amongst their ranks.
