Ron Heard, a 31-year-old single father, says finding the right woman to be in his daughter's life is his top priority. He works for the U.S. Coast Guard as an engineer in Kingsland, Georgia. Since moving to Kingsland a year and a half ago, Ron has yet to establish many close relationships and says he wants to bridge the gap that separates his military and civilian life.

Ron is confident that he knows what type of woman he wants to spend his life with and says he will no longer settle. Ron, who has never been married nor engaged, shares custody of his 10-year-old daughter, Tyoina, with his ex-girlfriend, who lives nearby in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ron only recently rejoined the dating world. He is protective of his daughter and is hesitant to introduce her to the women he dates. He enjoys basketball, flag football, renting movies and spending quality time with his daughter.
