Eric Schotz, Executive Producer of OWN docu-series, Lost and Found, sent us a special note about tonight's all-new episode. Fans of the series and organ-donors alike are sure to be moved by this real-life incident.

Tonight, a very special episode of OWN's docu-series, Lost and Found, will air. It is about an amazing organ donation that brought two incredible families together.

Our friend and colleague, Angela Heller -- veteran producer and director -- produced the story featured in tonight's episode, where a young girl facing death receives the gift of life and the resulting life-long bond with her organ donor's family.


Angela had a wonderful way with people and touched everyone she came in contact with.  She was so inspired by the segment  for Lost & Found that the day she finished shooting, she immediately signed up to be an organ donor.

Six months ago this week, Angela passed away, but due to her selfless act of giving in becoming an organ donor, she went on to save and touch many more lives.
