Creating homes that families love to live in is the core of Home Made Simple. The show pairs deserving families with a team of a professional interior designer, an experienced carpenter and often times, a celebrity chef. The team works together to devise simple solutions to everyday home challenges. Whether giving a room a much needed revamp, pulling off a party to remember or reimagining an over-crowded mismatched space the series delivers creative design and decorating trends, easy to follow crafts, quick and mouthwatering recipes, along with unexpected surprises.

Jeremiah Brent joins Home Made Simple as host for season five. A renowned interior designer, Jeremiah is the owner of the interior and furniture design firm Jeremiah Brent Design and has created interior designs for homes, hotels and nightclubs for high-profile brands and celebrities including celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. Featured on the TV series The Rachel Zoe Project, Jeremiah became a fan favorite while attempting to become a fashion stylist, only to rediscover his passion for design after completely furnishing and decorating Rachel’s new home. His passion for design started at an early-age; this self-taught designer took what started as a childhood hobby, and turned his passion for design and furniture building into a business. Married to fellow designer Nate Berkus, when not designing, Brent enjoys spending time with their three-month-old daughter Poppy Brent-Berkus.

"As a kid I used to love going to open houses and doing DIY projects with my parents and sister around our home," said Jeremiah Brent. "I feel so fortunate to have been able to take a childhood hobby and turn it into a career and as the new host of Home Made Simple I can't wait to help use my passion for design and help other families learn fun and creative ways to makeover their own homes and their lives."
