Kent Faulcon, an actor-writer-director who appears regularly in leading and supporting television and film roles, enjoys a career that provides him with the best of all worlds: the opportunity to work with highly renowned actors and directors in some of the biggest films in the business and the freedom to work on smaller projects about which he cares deeply. Faulcon is a versatile and classically-trained Shakespearean actor who has been seen in memorable films like War of the Worlds, Men in Black, and Die Hard: With A Vengeance.
Kent currently stars as "Richard Ellington" on the Tyler Perry series, For Better or Worse—the television spinoff of Perry’s Why Did I get Married? films. As a familiar face on stage and the small screen, Faulcon has had lead and supporting roles on NCIS-Los Angeles, NBC's Harry's Law, TV Land’s The Exes, Bones, Common Law, 24, CSI: Miami, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Love That Girl, Boston Legal, Shark, Desperate Housewives, and Girlfriends. He has had recurring roles on Lincoln Heights, Showtime's Soul Food series, Charmed, Joan of Arcadia and Days of Our Lives.
Faulcon has always found writing and directing to be complementary to his work as an actor. Faulcon has produced, directed, and sometimes starred in several short film projects and stage projects. His award-winning feature project Sister's Keeper, with Oscar® Nominee Eric Roberts and Denise Boutté, from Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns, was a crowd-pleasing action-drama he wrote and directed.
