Alex van Praag is the mother of a 15-month-old toddler, Luca, who has started walking and exploring their home. But her house has become dangerously unsafe for her child because of the demands of tackling childcare, a full-time job and an exploding, clutter problem.

Alex's first started saving magazines at twelve years old. Over the years, she has collected thousands of magazines, CDs and other memorabilia. She says she saves artifacts of her life so she can share her "Museum of Mommy" with her son one day.
