Ralph and Michelle met while working together at an event 8 years ago. She was catering and he was a parking valet. He thought she was beautiful, but Michelle claims that she didn't even notice him until he left a rose in her car and his number on the dash board. That rose was the last time Ralph did anything spontaneous, creative or romantic. He had Michelle pick out her own engagement ring instead of giving her the surprise proposal she dreamed about. They live together with their 2 year old daughter Isabella. Ralph has matured slightly since becoming a father and tries to put his daughter's needs first. The additional expense of having a child has put Michelle's dream wedding on hold. Ralph adores Michelle, but he also loves going out with his buddies. Groomsman Gary does his best to be a role model and teach Ralph how to be romantic, but so far Ralph hasn't learned much. He hopes that he can plan a wedding that will not only impress Michelle, but will prove he is a responsible and dedicated man ready for marriage.
