Meet director Jill Andresevic! She will be tweeting with us LIVE tomorrow during the premiere of her film, Love Etc. at 8/7c. While watching the film log on to twitter at hashtag #LoveEtc. and ask questions, make comments, or just let us know what you think about love.   We asked her five questions to get Lisa's point of view on life, love, and filmmaking.

1.Why did you become a doc filmmaker, what kind of stories do you like to tell?
I became a documentary filmmaker accidentally producing a Nike ad campaign where we used NFL Films as the production company.  I had to go with 2nd unit and make sure "we got all the shots", inadvertently I was "directing" but did not realize this until years later.  I also love being on set,  I love the process of filmmaking, from prep through the shoot through post production.  

I love to tell stories that combine humor and emotion, and I am fascinated by the stories real people tell.  I do believe real life can be stranger than fiction.  That being said while I love documentaries, the next film I make will be scripted, but I will always take the documentary process with me and what I learned on any film I ever make for the rest of my life.

2.  How did this project come about and what did you want to hope to say about love?
This project was inspired by Jonathan Tisch, my executive producer.  One day Jonathan and his fiance went to City Hall to get their marriage license.  They were in a tiny crowded room in lower Manhattan standing in a long line, surrounded by people of all ages speaking different languages, from different parts of the city and the world, all gathered there for one purpose - the commerce of love.  This was the inspiration for the film and it came from Jonathan's experience that day.

3.  What did you learn about love and what do you hope viewers take away?
I learned that love is possible anytime, at anytime in your life, no matter what.  You just have to have the confidence and faith that you will find it, not rush it, and most importantly be willing to fail and make mistakes.  Emotional courage is a necessity in this undertaking and often the hardest type of courage to have in life.

4.What is your favorite love story?
I recently saw W.E. that Madonna directed, and I found Wallis Simpsons' story very moving and complex.  I don't have a favorite love story.

5. Do you have a personal love story to tell?
 I have so many personal love stories, but I can't kiss and tell :) plus I am a filmmaker and there is a reason I prefer to be behind the camera not in front of it, but I am definitely qualified to make this film, as I have had my share of successes and failures in love.  My only advice to anyone in a troubled romantic situation (including myself) is "the only way out is through" - which means feel everything, don't stuff your emotions, go through whatever it is, walk through that fire and when you come out on the other side you will be free, lighter and maybe wiser.
