The OWN Documentary Club is a series of 14 original films that give voice to a wide variety of topics. These films were made to enlighten, entertain and address issues such as animal rights with One Lucky Elephant, exiled youth of polygamists in Sons of Perdition, life in the "virtual" world or Life 2.0, and women unjustly incarcerated in Crime After Crime. Some celebrity filmmakers contributed their passion projects like Christy Turlington who directed No Woman, No Cry, Forest Whitaker the executive producer of Serving Life, and Chaz Bono who makes a very pubic transition from female to male in Becoming Chaz.
