Ms. Neisha Riley
Professional School Counselor ![]() A native of Los Angeles, California, Neisha Riley learned at an early age that education and athletics would be her path to success and fulfillment. Neisha earned a basketball scholarship to the University of Hawaii, and later earned a BA in Physical Education from California State University Long Beach. After graduating, Neisha began teaching and coaching girls basketball at schools in urban communities throughout Los Angeles County. Realizing that many of her students were also in need of social, personal and emotional guidance, Neisha moved from the classroom into the counseling room. Her desire to better serve the children and families drove Ms. Riley to earn a MS Degree in School Counseling from the University of La Verne. In 1999, she moved to New Orleans, where she served as a School Counselor for 14 years. She earned a reputation of being stern, honest and always knowing the right thing to say. Ms. Riley lives in New Orleans and is the proud mother to three beautiful daughters.
