Dr. Laura Berman
Dr. Laura Berman has worked as a sex educator, researcher and therapist for more than 20 years, helping countless couples achieve secure and stimulating relationships and heightened levels of intimacy. Dr. Berman is the host of Oprah Radio's The Dr. Laura Berman Show on XM 111 and Sirius 204 at 5/4c and a regular guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Dr. Oz Show. She is also an assistant clinical professor of OB-GYN and psychiatry at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.
Dr. Berman is the author of The Book of Love: Every Couple's Guide to Emotional and Sexual Intimacy and New York Times best-selling books, Real Sex for Real Women: Intimacy, Pleasure, & Sexual Wellbeing and For Women Only: A Revolutionary Guide to Overcoming Sexual Dysfunction and Reclaiming Your Sex Life, to name a few. She's also a weekly columnist for the Chicago Sun Times and has appeared on Fox News and CNN and written for The New York Times, USA Today every major woman's magazine.
After earning a master's in clinical social work and a doctorate in health education specializing in human sexuality from New York University, Dr. Berman went on to complete a training fellowship in sexual therapy with the Department of Psychiatry, New York University Medical Center.
Dr. Berman is also a member of the American Association of Sex Educators Counselors and Therapists, Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, National Association of Social Workers, International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health and American Urologic Society.
