Comedian and actress Kim Coles brings pizzazz and flair as co-host to Are You Normal, America? Coles is no stranger to game shows. She was the first African-American woman to host a primetime game show for BET's Pay It Off. Best known for her role as Synclaire on Fox's Living Single, Coles has also starred in a number of other TV hits, including Frasier, Six Feet Under, In Living Color, One on One and 10 Items or Less. Reality audiences best know Coles for her appearances on The Mole and VH1's Celebrity Fit Club.
Also, on BET, Coles hosted My Black Is Beautiful, a program that was part of a national initiative celebrating the diverse, collective beauty of African-American women. Coles has co-hosted the nationally syndicated daytime talk show In the Loop with iVillage and has been a guest co-host for various shows, including The View and Good Day Live.
Coles continues to bring her fresh take on love, life and laughter to stages across the nation. She has co-written and starred in her own award-winning play, Homework, a one-woman show about the lives of three best friends who progress from elementary school to womanhood. Her new solo piece, Oh But Wait, There's More!, will debut in the prestigious Hollywood Fringe Festival in June 2012.
Coles couples her comedic background with her guiding spirit in her latest venture, G.I.F.T.S., a transformational program designed to encourage personal discovery. Coles is also the author of the best-selling book I'm Free, but It'll Cost You: The Single Life According to Kim Coles.
