Kristina Kuzmic is the host of The Ambush Cook on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Energetic, funny, and obsessed with food and creativity, Kristina blends recipes she learned as a child from her beloved grandmother with fresh and innovative ideas that appeal to a wide audience of seasoned cooks and novices alike. Her dishes range from the healthy to sinfully decadent, but all encourage people to let loose in their kitchen and enjoy the cooking process.

Born and raised in Croatia, Kristina left the war-torn country at the age of 14, and moved to the States. She worked various jobs, but felt most fulfilled when cooking for her friends and family. She launched a website, stickycook, where she shared stories, recipes and videos, all aimed at getting people to fall in love with cooking. Kristina was discovered by Oprah Winfrey after entering, and winning, "Oprah’s Search for the Next TV Star." Kristina currently lives in Southern California and is a wife and mother of two small children.
