Dejuaii (pronounced deh-WHY-uh) is a 45 year-old virgin from an extremely religious family. Her mother is a Pentecostal minister and together with her sisters she performs in the gospel group "The Anointed Pace Sisters." Dejuaii's main struggle in life has been her fear of admitting to herself and to her very conservative family that she is a lesbian. Food became her only comfort as she struggled with her secret. She is desperately afraid to disappoint her family and fears they will disown her if she admits to being gay. But Dejuaii knows she must face her biggest fear if she is to break the addiction to food that holds her prisoner in her own body.
