Food consumes Camille's thoughts and controls her life. She will gorge herself until she is sick and then rid herself of the "dreaded full feeling" by taking massive amounts of laxatives. She and her identical twin sister Candace grew up in a family overwrought with violence and addiction. Her painful past has left a hole in her life that she continually tries to fill with food. Everyone in her life from her employer to her family tells her that she's beautiful and has a perfect body. But Camille is unable to believe them. Looking in the mirror obsessively through out the day, she feels fat and sometimes fantasizes about dying to end her pain.
