Q: What is The Oprah Show Summer Giveaway?
A: The Oprah Show Summer Giveaway is an exciting promotion that's open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. age 18 or older. It's your chance to win prizes that are practical and fun, like Target GiftCards™, a fully-loaded 2009 Volkswagen Routan SEL Premium minivan, or a GE Profile™ Front Load Washer and Dryer with SmartDispense™ Pedestal. You could even win a trip to an Oprah Show taping during the 2009/2010 season premiere week!

Q: How do I enter?
A:

• During the promotion watch The Oprah Show every weekday and look for the Word of the Day.
• Come back and go to oprah.com/summergiveaway and click on Enter Now.
• Register and enter the Word of the Day.
• Find out immediately if you're an instant winner!
• If you miss the Word of the Day, go to oprah.com to find it.

Q: Do I have to fill out the complete registration page each time I enter?
A: No. Once you register, you will only be required to provide information including your email address, date of birth and the Word of the Day.

Q: When does The Oprah Show Summer Giveaway end?
A: The Oprah Show Summer Giveaway ends at 8:59 AM CT on August 29, 2009. You can enter the promotion every weekday. A weekday starts at 9:00 AM CT through 8:59 AM CT the following weekday. There is a limit of one (1) instant win entry per person, per email address, per weekday for the duration of the Promotion Period, for a maximum of up to five (5) instant win entries per week.

WORD OF THE DAY

Q: What is the Word of the Day?
A: The Word of the Day is a code that allows you to enter The Oprah Show Summer Giveaway. You may only submit the correct Word of the Day for the corresponding weekday on which you enter; you may not use any Word of the Day more than once. You may not submit the Word of the Day if it is obtained from any re-runs from previous weekdays.

Q: Where can I see the Word of the Day?
A: Watch The Oprah Show each weekday. The Word of the Day will be featured during the broadcast. The Word of the Day is also available at www.oprah.com.

Q: Can I go back and enter the Word of the Day for days that I didn't enter?
A: No. You may only submit the Word of the Day once and for the corresponding weekday on which you enter.

A: You have to win a prize in The Oprah Show Summer Giveaway to appear in the Winners Gallery. If you are verified as a winner, follow the instructions provided in your letter of congratulations.

WINNER OF THE OPRAH SHOW SUMMER GIVEAWAY

Q: How do I know that I'm a prize winner?
A: Instant Win Game: These are awarded randomly from June 1 – August 29, 2009. Each time you enter the sweepstakes during the designated times and dates, you will instantly receive a "win" or "sorry try again" message. If you receive a "win" message Promotion Headquarters will contact you with details regarding winner verification and prize redemption.

Weekly Drawing: For each weekday entry in June and July for The Oprah Show Summer Giveaway there is also an automatic entry in a weekly sweepstakes drawing. Entries for one Weekly Sweepstakes Drawing will not be included in subsequent Weekly Sweepstakes Drawings. If you are chosen as a potential winner Promotion Headquarters will contact you with details regarding winner verification and prize redemption.

Daily Drawing: For each weekday entry in August for The Oprah Show Summer Giveaway there is an automatic entry in a daily sweepstakes drawing. Entries for one Daily Sweepstakes Drawing will not be included in subsequent Daily Sweepstakes Drawings. If you have been chosen as the potential winner Promotion Headquarters will contact you with details regarding winner verification and prize redemption.

Grand Prize Drawing: For the Grand Prize, the potential winner will be selected from all eligible entries collected and every entry from June 1 through August 29, 2009 is a potential winner. If you have been chosen as the potential winner Promotion Headquarters will contact you with details regarding winner verification and prize redemption.
