Oprah's not the only one who read The Story of Edgar Sawtelle this summer. "I made everybody who came to visit me ... stay on the porch and read this particular book," Oprah says.

If you're about to pick up a copy of the novel, Oprah has one important piece of advice. "Do not read the inside cover, because that will give you too much information," she says. "I read the inside cover, and I knew too much to start. It's part mystery, and if you want it to remain a mystery, do not read the inside cover. Just start with the first chapter."
