The Untold Story

Anne Bird publicly defended her half-brother, Scott Peterson, throughout his trial for the murder of his wife, Laci Peterson, and their unborn child. In November 2004, Scott was found guilty for the double-murder. Now, Anne has broken with her birth family and has written a new book, chillingly titled Blood Brother: 33 Reasons Why My Brother Scott Peterson Is Guilty.

Because she did not testify in the trial, Anne says she wrote this book to tell her side of the story and to highlight Scott's behavior both before and after the hideous crime. "All of these things had been adding up," Anne says. "And I got to this moral plateau, you know. Do I ever say anything? Do I just keep everything to myself?"
