The role of Becky, the oldest Conner child, was split between two actresses over the show's nine seasons. Alicia Goranson played the original Becky until she decided to leave the show to go to college. "At that time, I craved normalcy," she says. Alicia says her most vivid memory of working on Roseanne was the laughter. "People kind of throw the word genius around, but I do think Roseanne is, comically, a genius," she says. Still acting all these years later, Alicia says theater is her passion. She's also appeared in independent films like 1999's Boys Don't Cry and 2005's Love Ludlow. |
