On September 7, 1999, Oprah's season premiere hit a home run with actor Kevin Costner. Kevin discussed his new baseball film, For Love of the Game, and even gave Oprah a private lesson on how to throw the ball. Oprah also used the show to announce that "Change Your Life TV" would continue with Dr. Phil and Iyanla Vanzant alternating every Tuesday. "As we run on into the millennium we are more dedicated than ever to doing television shows that will continue to inspire you," Oprah says. |
