Journalist Lisa Ling has reported from danger zones all over the world, but this assignment nearly got her abducted and almost killed. She's penetrating the violent street gang MS-13. MS-13 stands for "Mara Salvatrucha," a name Lisa says everyone needs to remember. Once a localized Los Angeles problem, the gang has grown into an international threat. Foot soldiers in the United States alone number over 10,000. The gang's brutality is rapidly spreading across 33 states, touching even rural and suburban areas. |
