www.hoap.org.pk This Pakistani and American organization's goal is to raise the standard of living of severely disadvantaged communities in the remote regions of Pakistan. After the earthquake, HOAP has been integral in delivering relief aid to survivors. Their main focus is now shifting to providing rehabilitation facilities, schools, water supplies and medical camps to continue to aid the survivors. Melody Relief and Rehab Center Melody Cinema Building Block # 15 Melody Market, Main Civic Center, Markaz G — 6 Islamabad, Pakistan After the October 8, 2005, earthquake in Pakistan, volunteers and doctors rebuilt a burned-out theater into a post-op care center for female patients with spinal cord injuries. Since the earthquake the Melody Center has provided a home and medical care for over 70 women paralyzed in the earthquake.
