: Oprah, I wish you could also get to talk with nuns from an active order meaning those that work among people in the outside world as they call it. Get their experiences as well. I also wish you could get to your show some of the ex-nuns to tell their experiences and what made them to finally take a decision of leaving the life they had chosen. I would love to see these shows.

empty4god: The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist are an active/contemplative order. They do spend time in the "outside world." They teach. All of the Sisters from the convent who do student teaching... do so in public schools.
