CC | tv-pg
After a 2004 taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah asked Hillary Clinton to share her thoughts on the low turnout of women voters. Hillary explained that, in the 2000 election, there were 50 million women eligible to vote who did not show up to the polls.

"When we don't vote it's like sending a signal that we are really too busy or too uninterested to support our democracy," said Hillary.

Watch as Hillary Clinton explains the importance of women exercising their hard-earned right and how we can inspire our friends and family to do the same.
