While she didn't expect it, Helen says she was fond of playing the queen. "I loved being that woman, and that took me by surprise. I didn't expect that," she says. "It must have been such a different experience for Forest playing someone who was so difficult and brutal, and I could play someone that I could absolutely admire and love ultimately." Although there have been rumors that Helen is going to have tea with England's monarch, she says she doubts it. Helen doesn't even know if the queen has seen the film. "I don't think I ever will know. I'm sure she has, because who could resist, really?" she says. |
