Celine Dion and Oprah

Looking back, Celine says her extended stay at Caesars Palace was more than a series of musical performances. "It was a five-year journey," she says. "Even though it was tough to start with, I have to say, I'll miss it."

With multiple shows a week and sometimes more than one a day, Celine says the journey was demanding, but it was never boring.

"It evolved since the beginning, and I'm amazed because I was the first one to think that night after night, maybe it will be very, very difficult," she says. "But it gave me, in a way, stability and a comfort zone. You think, 'How can you do it night after night? It can get boring or something.' It did not. ... The people there are different every night. Nights you don't feel so good, you go on. They give you the energy you need."
