Jon Bon Jovi says his most memorable Oprah moment happened right after Hurricane Katrina. "I gave her a check for a million dollars and asked her to team up with us to build some houses," he says. "And on the one-year anniversary, those families were in those houses. I was most proud of that." Above all, Jon says Oprah has been an inspiration to an entire generation of people. "She gave of herself, which in turn, made people want to give of themselves. And now she's not going away. She's just changing direction. That, to me, is what it's all about, isn't it? It's about growth." |
