For playwright and actor Tyler Perry, the most inspiring and powerful moment on The Oprah Show was when she said it was cathartic to write things down. "That's what started me on my journey to writing," he says. "I know you think it's time to go [after 25 years]—and I so respect it because you've always been so right when it comes to what is right for you—but there is going to be a huge void left in television," Tyler says. "You've done well. God bless you. I know this is only the beginning, so whatever you do, Godspeed." |
