Billy and Katie Joel Movin' Up

Billy Joel is a six-time Grammy winner with 33 top 40 hits and more than 100 million records sold worldwide. He's the only singer in history to perform the national anthem at two Super Bowls and the only entertainer to sell out Madison Square Garden a record-breaking 12 nights in a row. In July 2008, Billy will play the final concert ever at New York's Shea Stadium.

When "Only the Good Die Young" was first released, Billy says he was criticized for the controversial lyrics. "It came out as a single, and it got banned by a couple of Catholic universities, and then some archdiocese said that people shouldn't hear it and buy it," Billy says.

Fortunately for Billy, just the opposite happened. "Only the Good Die Young" became a top 40 hit! "I wrote them a letter and said, 'Can you please ban my next record?'" Billy jokes. Although he says the song might appear sacrilegious, Billy says that was not his intention. "It wasn't anti-anything," he says. "It was pro-lust, that was the point of the song."
