With so many songs in his library to choose from, Billy says he can't pick a favorite because it changes from day to day. "They're kind of like kids," he says. "You carry them around with you for awhile, and then you're fraught with composition, and then you give birth, which is kind of the painful process of songwriting for me."

Although Billy is an undeniable rock 'n' roll legend, he says he's never been a glamour boy. "I don't think I'm like a typical rock 'n' roll star," he says. "I think I'm like the least glamorous of the rock 'n' roll types."
