Grover

Grover

Grover has been at Best Friends for six years and lost his home long ago because of nervous anxiety. He would freak out when his person left home, and thunderstorms—don't even talk about thunderstorms! And who could blame him—early in his life, someone tied him to a tree trunk and abandoned him. That's why he doesn't want you to walk away. He's on medication now, and it makes him a thousand times better. But he'll always have separation anxiety and should not to be left alone too often.

Grover is house-trained and extra-affectionate. His little face gets so sad when nobody is paying him any attention. He's a terrific walker and first-rate cuddler. He's not so great with cats, but he sometimes likes other dogs.
