NBA Player Caron ButlerNBA player Caron Butler's road to success was not an easy one. Growing up on the streets of Racine, Wisconsin, Caron was arrested 15 times before the age of 15. "My role models back then were pimps [and] drug dealers," Caron told Oprah in 2005. It wasn't until he found himself in a maximum-security detention center that he discovered his love for basketball—and the hope that it provided. His true turning point occurred while he was locked in solitary confinement for two weeks.
