How Oprah and Steve Harvey Learned to Deal with Haters

No matter what you do in life, chances are that you're going to encounter someone who wants to bring you down. Oprah and Steve Harvey have encountered their share of haters and have received life-changing advice about how not to let the haters get them down. In the video above, Oprah recalls the wisdom Dr. Maya Angelou gave her. "In the beginning, it used to bother me so much when people would talk about me," Oprah says. "She used to say to me, 'Baby, those people can't hold a candle to the light that God already has shining on your face.'"

Then, Steve shares why Tyler Perry told him that responding to social media trolls would only exacerbate the problem.
