Season 4 Episode 408
Aired on 09/07/2014 | CC tv-14
In 2007, Tanard Jackson was drafted into the National Football League. "It was the happiest day of my life," he says. "It changed my life forever." Although he was living his dream, Tanard's actions off the field with drugs and fighting began to threaten his career. Tanard found himself suspended from the Washington Redskins. "I went from a $2 million contract to $12 an hour," he says.

Comedian Steve Harvey, who made it back to the top after losing everything he had, has some words of advice for Tanard. "What you've done is not irreparable," he says in the video above. "Don't let a mistake or a series of mistakes continue to define you for the rest of your life."

Steve explains how Tanard could use his competitive spirit to turn his life around.
